How you can help

Although affiliated to Headway UK, Headway Somerset is run as a financially independent charity. Income from fees and grants alone is not enough to fund our services and the organisation is increasingly having to rely on voluntary help and contributions to carry on our essential work. We hope you can assist us, whether you represent a company, community group/other organisation, or whether you feel, as an individual, that you would like to help us continue to provide practical help and support to brain injured people, their families and carers living in the Somerset community.

Your support could help in so many ways, including:

Developing our Outreach and informal learning programmes

• Essential Respite breaks for carers
• Funding activities at our three Brain Injury Outreach Units
• Day trips and outings
• Family support & counselling

Currently in Somerset there is no provision of such services from within the NHS or other statutory services.
