Our Patron

We are extremely fortunate to have Sarah Parish as our Patron. Sarah is an actress who has starred in a whole range of different films and television series, including Cutting It, Mistresses, Doctor Who and as the wife of a man with a brain injury in the television drama "Recovery". Sarah says, "Two years ago I embarked on a project about brain injury. During the research for the project we were lucky enough to meet a family, the husband of which had suffered a brain injury during an accident. The journey the whole family had been through was remarkable and the help and support the gentleman and his family got from Headway Essex was fantastic. When I was approached by Headway Somerset to be their patron I was honoured and delighted.
